The Late Worm Avoids The Early Bird
Gerry Nobody's latest offering to the void is a
slowly crafted accident of guitars being brushed into life, gently
screaming theremins & melodicas...singing trees tortured with pots &
pans for a rhythm section strapped to the back of a massive
contrabass...recorded throughout the winter of 2003 in a tiny room you
couldnt swing a cat in...bizarre sounds bounced back as soon as they
came into existence...the neighbours banged their shoes on the upstairs
floor & became part of the fevered choir....altogether a slow,
claustrophobic unravelling affair...it's charms are legion...it has been
a labour of love...listen carefully...

| This amazing Irish artist / writer-turned-musician performs
locally in Dublin, Ireland, but he is a one-man-band when it comes to
making albums. Like Daniel, he creates obsessively. He is an
excellent artist (right) and a few of his works are on display at his
site.
He produces all his material himself
with surprising studio-produced results.
Daniel says this guy is "over the
edge"!
His album "The Sun Shines Down On Me" is an extensive Daniel Johnston
COVER album - probably the most extensive since Kathy McCarty's "Dead
Dog's Eyeball".
